They say that no two days in policing are the same, and that couldn’t be more true! Being a response officer is an extremely rewarding job that keeps us on our toes.
Not only do we attend a vast array of jobs throughout the day and night, but we also conduct routine patrols of areas between 999 calls, all to keep our communities safe.
PCs Dixon and Wright (pictured above) are in their first 12 weeks of tutorship on Response Policing as part of the team that covers the north of the county.
While you were sleeping last night, the team responded to a whole host of calls for service after receiving reports of 49 incidents across Peterborough and Fenland, including:
🚔 8 concern for person
🚔 3 domestic abuse
🚔 3 missing people
🚔 3 violence
🚔 1 sudden death
🚔 1 burglary
… just to highlight just a few.
We’ll see what tonight brings!
