Essentially the idea is to get people to connect based on shared experiences and to help people’s mental health and so, with effect from 9th August, there will be two ways of meeting up.
The first is the Good Mood Cafe which will meet every Monday at The George from 10.30 to 12 and is a drop in session. The second is called Open Door Calm Space which will meet every Tuesday at St. Andrews Parish Hall from 2 to 3.30. This will be a safe space for people to learn self-help techniques including mindfulness and meditation. For this people will need to sign up by emailing [email protected].
