A spike today has seen 8 reports of police impersonation in Lincolnshire and 4 in the Peterborough area.
The Police will NOT ask you to purchase high value goods or to withdraw large amounts of cash to hand over to a police officer who will visit their address to collect it.
The fraudsters allege the goods or money are counterfeit items.
